“BIG MAC” LOW CARB LASAGNA
INGREDIENTS:
Cut Da Carb flatbreads - (purchase them here)
Special Sauce - see recipe here for “Big Mac Sauce”
1 lb ground beef
Cheese of choice - I used swiss because that is what I had on hand. I added a top layer of american cheese to give the “hamburger” feel. Feel free to use slices or shredded (as long as it melts!)
Shredded lettuce
White onion - diced
Pickles
Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400F
Cook ground beef (can season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt/pepper). Drain and place to side.
Prepare casserole dish- add layer of ‘Cut Da Carb’ flatbread to fit casserole dish. It’s ok if it’s not perfect or if you have overlapping edges. (You’ll need atleast 3 sheets to get layers like video below).
Add first sheet of Cut Da Carb to casserole dish.
Add cheese on Cut Da Carb sheet. Add cooked seasoned ground beef. Add diced onions, and lather on special sauce.
Repeat Cut Da Carb and cheese layer. Add meats, diced onions and sauce (repeat to number of layers)
Final and top layer should be Cut Da Carb sheet, cheese, onions, cooked beef. Optional to add additional American Cheese for burger vibes.
Bake at 400F for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
After cheese has melted, add shredded lettuce, more special sauce, pickles and sesame seeds.
