PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE BROWNIES
Want to spruce up brownies? You’ll want to do this to your brownies and add a peanut butter/ almond butter/ or any nut butter of your choice.
INGREDIENTS:
BROWNIE MIX of choice or bake your own brownies at home
(recipe for homemade brownies coming soon!)
FOR NUT BUTTER LAYER (can use nut butter of choice):
3/4 cup almond butter
6 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup powdered/confectioners sugar
FOR CHOCOLATE LAYER
1 cup sugarfree chocolate chips + 1 tsp coconut oil
DIRECTIONS:
Make brownie mix as directed. Let brownies completely cool before adding almond butter/peanut butter layer.
FOR NUT BUTTER LAYER:
Melt butter and almond butter in a saucepan over low-medium heat.
Stir in vanilla extract and slowly stir in powdered sugar until everything is completely dissolved.
Spread almond butter layer over cooled brownies.
Set in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
FOR CHOCOLATE LAYER on top:
Melt your favorite sugar free chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil to make a smooth chocolate topping.
I microwave these together at 15 second intervals stirring until completely melted. If the chocolate clumps, you’ve overheated it too much.
Pour over cooled brownie and nut butter for a yummy chocolate layer on top. Set for an hour.
Cut brownie almond butter chocolate squares to size of your choice.
