UBE SHAKE
Ube - pronoun ced ooh-beh
This beautiful purple you see in waffles, bread, ice cream, and all different imaginable sweets is a purple yam. Think sweet potato with a vanilla/nutty/pistachio taste.
This recipe is super easy to make and is perfect to enjoy on a warm day!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of ice
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
* 1/4 tsp of Rogue Cocoa Keto Vanilla Bean *
1/4 tsp of ube flavoring
optional: unsweetened shredded coconut
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and blend.
Top with shredded coconut and enjoy!
There are many different kinds of ube flavorings. Just make sure you look at the labels to watch for carbs and sugar!
*when I had initially tried Rogue Keto vanilla by itself as a warm ‘hot chocolate’ drink, I thought it was too sweet! Adding less of the vanilla powder was a perfect addition to bring out more of the ube flavor in this keto-friendly drink.
